After nearly three years of the super success of ‘Dhuniya’ producer TP Siddaraju has launched the second film ‘Yaksha’ with his son the rising star Yogish as hero. The muhurut for the film was held on Gandhi Jayanthi day at Kanteerava studios. It is for this film the famous Hindi actor Nana Patekar, Kalabhavan Mani, Atul Kulkarni have agreed to act and the very famous stage personality of Karnataka Master Hirannaiah plays the role of grand father of Yogish in ‘Yaksha’.

‘I have made ‘Dhuniya’ with lot of ‘Kashta’ (difficulty) but every one attached to the film are comfortable today’. Now I am making ‘Yaksha’ with ‘Ishta’ (liking) as my son as hero and this will be a high quality film assured TP Siddaraju who is also an advocate by profession.

Ramesh Bhagavath after 17 years stint in the capacity of assistant director and actor in small roles is taking up his first film to direct. According to him ‘Yaksha’ means protector of nature from the description in Rig Veda. The hero is the protector of good against all odds he said on the contents of the film in one line.

The most talented Nana Patekar will be joining the team in December and he has the role of a friend, guide and philosopher to protagonist Yogish. There is also a song for Nana Patekar with protagonist combination says director Bhagavath.

‘Yaksha’ the home banner of hero Yogish will be on par with the Bollywood films. The rich quality and good entertainment is what I am looking for says Yogish in his address. Master Hirannaiah has agreed to act in this film mainly because of Nana Patekar presence in the film. I am not for any economic gains in this film pointed the master of theatre in Karnataka Hirannaiah.

Anoop Seelin is scoring music for five songs and one of which is the famous poem written by Dr NS Lakshminarayana Bhatta that is already popular in light music fraternity. It is easy to score music for actor Yogish as he cope up for all kinds of music complimented Anoop. Chandrasekhar the talented cameraman of some of the top ranking Kannada films is handling the first action film of his career.

Whether Pranitha will be the heroine of this film is in doldrums. Pranithi has signed a contract for Darshan starring ‘Porkhi’ that she will not accept any film for one year. TP Siddaraju is working out a strategy to get Pranitha to ‘Yaksha’ as this film is slated for release in May next year.
